
Qatar is fairly new country. Founded in September 3, 1971 by Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohammed Bin Thani. Now Qatar is exponentially growing country and a leading force in multifaceted industry. Contrary to popular belief, Qatar’s main source of income is not from oil, the fact of the matter is rather vice versa. The main, but not the least income of Qatar is from production and export of natural gas mainly extracted from the seabed of Arabian Gulf and afterwards production and export of natural oil.
Qatar’s population consists of approximately two and a half million inhabitants, of which approximately half a million are local Qatari citizens. Qatar is known for being one of many Islamic states. Yet, the country is open to multitude of foreigners from all over the world with variety of cultures and backgrounds.
Qatar’s capital city is Doha with almost all of the country inhabitants residing within the city borders. The second and only largest city of Qatar is known as Dukhan. The country is a semi-island, surrounded almost completely with the Gulf Sea. The only country Qatar shares borders with is The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the southern region of Qatar.

The Royal House of Thani was founded by the first Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Thani bin Mohammad. The Royal House of Qatar proudly carries the name of Thani as a last name, ever since the inception of the Royal House of Qatar.
Both Qatar’s dry climate and hot weather can be difficult to handle for many people during summer time, as the summer weather can reach up to 55 degrees Celsius. This business is yet popular to this day in Qatar, but more less so, compare to other newer opportunities of income possible now in Qatar. But once upon a time, finding pearls in the mouth of oysters was the main source of income for many Qataris.
Due to Qatar wining the bid and hosting the 2022 FIFA, Qatar has been in an exponential developing process. From the start of the 21st century, a new bold and bright project has been envisioned for Qatar, named Qatar 2030. This grandiose project elevated Qatar to swiftly rise and be amongst the league of developed nations. What other nations yet keep on reaching, Qatar has achieved in mere two decades.
